Refund/Return Policy
Order Cancellations
We do allow cancellations before we start the customization (i.e. decoration) process. This typically happens within 1-3 business days after your order has been placed. We encourage customers who wish to cancel an order to notify us via email (contact@lightningtees.com) or phone (1.833.867.8337) as soon as possible. Cancellation requests submitted after the customization process has started will be managed as described in the Customer Remorse section below. Once the customization process has started, the apparel/items cannot be repurposed or reused.
Refunds & Returns
We are committed to satisfaction and that means ensuring that all orders are processed accurately, delivered promptly, and of high quality. We stand behind our work and we will either replace or refund items (at your election) under the following conditions:
- Missing Items: Items not delivered to a valid mailing address provided by the customer during checkout.
- Material Flaws: Apparel/items are found to be materially defective.
- Quality of Decoration: The quality of the decoration does not meet reasonable expectations.
- Design Discrepancies: The decoration deviates materially from the design submitted.
A request for replacement or refund must be made within 15-days of receipt of the item(s) ordered. Apparel which has experienced significant wear is not eligible for replacement or return.
We may ask you to return the item(s) in question before providing a replacement or refund. In these situations, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) that will allow you to return the items without incurring any shipping expense.
All refunds are made through the same payment method used to pay for the order in question and will include shipping costs in cases where the entire order is refunded or never received. Once agreed, refunds are initiated within one business day.
Customer Remorse
Refund or replacement requests where Lightning Tees is not at fault are handled on a case-by-case basis. We strive to be empathetic and to find solutions that work for both parties. This commonly involves providing replacement or alternative items at a discounted price. Please keep in mind that custom products are just that – custom. Once the designs you have chosen are added to an item, that item does not have any resale or reuse value.

Please include your name, order number, specific request, reason for request, and pictures that demonstrate the issue. We will respond to your request within 2 business days.
